Bicycle Bin started because of a frustration I shared with my co-founder, Evan. We had a garage full of better-quality, unused bike parts, but every time we tried to sell them on mainstream marketplaces, the high fees felt like a flat tire. It didn't seem right that so much of the value was being taken away from the people who actually live and breathe this sport.

I decided we needed a better way. I built this website originally just to list our own gear, but we quickly realized that other cyclists were looking for the same thing: a fair, community-focused place to trade. That was the beginning of Bicycle Bin. Today, my goal remains the same—to provide a platform built by us, for us.
